Limited free lot and street parking are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Two parking ramps are connected to the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, within walking distance of the Vetter Stone Amphitheater.  Free Parking is available in the Civic Center Ramp.

Free shuttle service will be provided on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hours for each day are below:

  • Thursday, August 1: 5:00 p.m. - Midnight 

  • Friday, August 2: 5:00 p.m. - Midnight

  • Saturday, August 3: 3:00 p.m. - Midnight

  • Sunday, August 4: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Chairs are only provided for Reserved Seat Tickets. Camping chairs (with NO chair bag) are only permitted for general admission ticket holders. No bag chairs will be allowed into the reserved seating or party pit area. Camping chairs are subject to security checks. Public-use picnic tables are available throughout the venue.

Children ages 12 and under can get a Kid Pass at the Ticket Office on the day of the event. This pass is equivalent to a General Admission ticket. The Kid Pass does not allow entrance to the Party Pit or a reserved seat. Anyone ages 13+ will need a ticket to attend RibFest.

A Reserved Seat ticket is not required for a child 2 and under if they will be sitting on an adult's lap.

Sunday is free admission all day! This includes access to all live music. There will not be Reserved Seats or a Party Pit on Sunday.

If you would only like to purchase food from vendors, you can get a Rib Pass at the ticket office the day of. To get a Rib Pass, you will need to leave $15 cash with the ticket office. You will get your cash back if you return the Rib Pass within one (1) hour. ONLY cash will be accepted for a Rib Pass. An ATM will be available by the Ticket Office.

The Vetter Stone Amphitheater has a rain-or-shine policy. What this means is that if we encounter some wet weather, the show goes on. In cases of extreme weather, events are susceptible to being postponed until the weather passes or, in extreme cases, canceled.

Event is Postponed
If the decision is made to postpone an event, notifications will be posted on our social media sites.

​

Inclement Weather Arises During an Event
If there’s inclement weather that requires us to temporarily pause the show, everyone will be instructed to leave Riverfront Park immediately until the inclement weather passes. Updates will be posted on our social media sites.

Event is Cancelled
If an event is canceled, Updates will be posted on our social media sites. Refunds will be available, see below for details.

Tickets bought with a debit/credit card through TicketMaster, the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center Ticket Office, or the Vetter Stone Amphitheater Ticket Office will be automatically processed within three (3) weeks of the event date.

​

Tickets purchased with cash through the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center Ticket Office or the Vetter Stone Amphitheater Ticket Office can be refunded at the Event Center Ticket Office with proof of purchase. This includes your ticket(s) and/or receipt.

​

Tickets purchased through third-party sites will have to be returned through that site.

​

*Refunds are not available unless the event is canceled.

Venue Policies

Bag Policy
​Guests may carry into the Amphitheater the following style and size bag:
  •  Clear tote (plastic, vinyl or PVC) that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or a plastic storage bag that is a maximum one gallon, resealable and clear.
  • Small bags, such as a small clutch purse, that are approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap will be allowed, but must not exceed 5" x 8".
  • Guests with bags not meeting guidelines will be asked to return them to a vehicle or switch bag contents to a clear bag provided by the Vetter Stoner Amphitheater
Permitted Items
Chairs  (with NO chair bag) are permitted for general admission ticket holders only. Umbrellas less than 12" in length with no sharp ends are permitted but must not obstruct the view of others. Strollers are permitted and subject to search.
Prohibited Items
No Animals (except for certified service animals) fireworks, grills, coolers, outside food and beverages, glass or metal containers, or weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, pepper spray anything that management determines to be potentially injurious, or may otherwise affect the safety of other guests or the performance of the event. Professional lenses, video cameras, Go Pros, selfie sticks, tablets, and drones are prohibited.

Note: All bags, purses, backpacks, and persons are subject to screening by security personnel.
